HotNews Good News May 2026 · Renovations + Posture Clinic

Hello, hottie yogi.

How are you? I hope you had a great April.

Studio Renovations

As you’ve seen, we’ve been undergoing renovations to make some necessary improvements to the studio. Some you can’t see, but others you can.

What you’ll notice directly is that we’ve improved the heating and ventilation system in the room, added lower mirrors on the front and side walls —a little gift for the Bikramites— and finally installed the permanent mat storage structure.

We’ve been wanting this for years because of the convenience it offers to all hotties and teachers, and because it makes disinfecting and drying much easier.

Also, with this change, all the mats are now brand new —I'm sure you've noticed!

So, I hope you’re enjoying the improvements. We’re not done yet, though. There are still a few surprises coming, as -almost- always, between classes and during the night.

Posture Clinic with Rafa Veiga

I also want to tell you that for the month of May, we’re bringing you a Bikram Posture Clinic.

This time it will be with Rafa Veiga, one of the leading Bikram masters in Spain, on the weekend of May 16th and 17th.

The Posture Clinic is a workshop for ALL levels; I’m putting "all" in bold caps because I know sometimes there’s doubt about whether it’s for you.

Workshop Posture Clinic Bikram with Rafa Veiga in Inhala Hot Yoga

The Bikram sequence is designed for people with limited mobility, low flexibility, back or knee problems, stress, and anxiety...

In short, problems of normal people like you and me.

In fact, yogis who grow up practicing and lead a contemplative life reach a point where they practically don't perform asanas; it’s those of us with these types of issues who need them.

No prior experience is necessary to attend. In fact, it’s almost better that way. It’s like learning to drive: the less you know, the easier it is to avoid automating unnecessary movements or thoughts.

And for those who have been practicing for a while, it’s the perfect way to shed old habits and better understand the practice.

So, whether you’ve been practicing Bikram for a short or long time, or if you want to start but are afraid, come to the workshop.

You’ll be in the hands of one of the top Bikram masters in Spain. Rafa trained in Los Angeles at the Bikram Yoga College of India and later began his practice at Nacho Cano’s studio in Miami.

He has spent over a decade teaching in the US, Indonesia, Thailand, India, Latvia, Kenya, Denmark, Jamaica, and Spain, drawing from the experience of teaching people across many cultures.

With all his experience and a big heart, Rafa will cover:

  • Origins and purpose of Bikram Yoga.
  • Context of the practice within today's postural disciplines.
  • Postural review of the series (participatory).
  • Contextualization of the poses and their placement in the series.
  • Benefits and correct approaches for handling injuries.
  • Mental focus of the practice.
  • Practical tips to evolve in your practice.
